The Intellectual Protection Process distributed royalties based on "cumulative net income (gross royalties minus direct costs of patenting, licensing, legal, and other related expenses)." For net income of $1-$100,000, the inventor receives a 50% share. The inventor's share dropps to 40% for a net income of $101,000-$199,000.
