Royalty Distribution Policy Summary

(1) The Royalty distribution allocation for disclosures received from July 1, 2003 going forward is:

Division of Net License Revenue'—After deducting the UWTT administrative fee (20%), and deducting and reserving expenses, net royalties, equity, and licensing fees (collectively, net "license revenue") derived from the licensing of intellectual property in which the University holds an interest will be distributed as follows:

(2) For invention disclosures received between August 15, 1993 to June 30, 2003, the division of Net License Revenue is:

(3) For invention disclosures received between March 1, 1983 to August 15, 1993 the above formula is the same, except that the Admin fee is 15% for both patent and copyright.

* Within the Dept/College share, the department gets 75% and the College/School gets 25%.
